Francesco Rinaldi e Figli is a traditional style in Piedmonte that has a reputation for greatness. Dating back to 1870 (though winemaking has run in the family for even longer), the estate specialises in the classic Barolo that is championed by the region, and is currently run by Luciano Rinaldi’s niece, Paola Rinaldi and her sister Piera, who continue to use time tested techniques such as long macerations and maturation in large Slavonian oak.
