Wedgwood’s Phoenix collection rises out of one of its oldest patterns, the Florentine print that was first introduced in 1931. A phoenix is plucked from the original pattern and soars across the bone china backdrop of this teacup, hand-painted in jasperware blue while the saucer is trimmed in 22-karat gold.
