A blend of young and old vines, Matthieu Barret’s Cornas `Brise Cailloux` is aged for 18 months to encourage a creamy, fruity wine, packed with peppery personality and wonderful depth – but it doesn’t end there. In 2012, he officially swapped machinery for mules and manual labour, enabling him to create green spaces and a healthy environment for wildlife – not to mention a pesticide free product.
