Founded in 2012, it is named for its designer, Gauri Kohli, who directs every form, material and finish.What It Is:Green onyx and brass, cut into a long, low tray - the stone running in sweeping bands from sage green to pale gray-white, the color shifting as light moves across it. Two brass handles rise just above the surface at each end, low enough to stay clear of the stone. The finish is polished, with visible depth.Handles at both ends mean the tray lifts level when it is full - a single-sided grip would tip whatever is on it.
