When Domaine Drouhin set themselves up in Oregon they picked a site that they felt was as close an environment to their vineyards in Burgundy as possible, each in climate, latitude and aspect. It's clearly working, as this Roserock is a Pinot Noir red, one of Burgundy's four most common varietals.
