This wine is a blend of Syrah with the local varietal Xynomavro, this grape is hard to grow but when made well it is intense, full bodied, almost black in colour with exotic spices, leather and mediterranean herbs set against a background of red and black fruits. It is a grape that can age well and blends well with the sweeter tannins of Syrah.
