Part of Bruichladdich’s Octomore series – an annual release of heavily peated single-malt whiskies – this 17. 1 expression pays homage to the ever-changing weather of Scotland’s rugged coastline. Made from pure Concerto barley, the whisky is matured in first-fill bourbon barrels, resulting in smoky, salty and sweet notes on the tongue.
