The stone is warm and mottled, cream and ivory ground with amber and caramel clouding, mineral pitting visible across the polished surface. Each piece carries a different concentration of tone.Three arches at three heights means none hides behind another, whichever way the set is turned - the graduation makes it a group rather than a repeat. Each carries a different concentration of amber, so the three read as one stone at different depths.
