The edges are clean and straight with no lip. Warm brown and charcoal ground, with cream veining sweeping across both tiers in its own direction.The tiers are far enough apart to reach a pastry off the lower one without tilting the stand, and the no-lip edge means a plate slides on and off rather than lifting over.
