Founded in 2012, it is named for its designer, Gauri Kohli, who directs every form, material and finish.What It Is:Natural cotton printed in soft pastels makes this pillow - a loose grid of terracotta half-domes, periwinkle arches, potted plants and blush blooms, evenly spaced on an ivory ground. Over the print, embroidery adds what print cannot: a tufted olive center in one block, French knots at the heart of a flower, a line of stitching around an arch. A blue whipstitch closes the edge.The print gives the pillow its order and the stitching gives it a surface - from a few feet away the two are one pattern; closer, the fingertips find the tufts and knots standing up from an otherwise flat face.
