Founded in 2012, it is named for its designer, Gauri Kohli, who directs every form, material and finish.What It Is:Orange onyx, carved into a low block bowl and polished on every face - so the amber and white veining reads continuously from the flat sides into the hollow. The interior is swept out in broad curving planes that meet at the base. The transition from flat top to interior wall is sharp and precise, with no rounding at the edge.The hollow is swept out rather than drilled, and the polish carries over the rim into it - the veining does not stop at the lip.
