The contrast is direct: cool white against deep black, warm brass sitting flush at the joins. A jute cord at the top keeps the profile clean.The white panel is where the cheese goes and the black surround frames it, so the board arranges itself without anyone deciding. Brass flush with the stone means a knife crosses the join without catching.
